Brief
The client came to me after having issues with her previous paid WordPress theme following WordPress core updates and frustration with limited functionality.
The client was used to working with WordPress and wanted to retain the ability to change typography and theme colours but also wanted additional control over selection of posts to promote on feed pages. They also requested a redesign to freshen the look of the site.
I built a redesigned bespoke theme for the client incorporating extra admin options to allow them to select feature posts for categories as well as incorporating a SASS customizer to provide with the ability to update typography and theme elements without the use of inline styles.
We also worked together to significantly improve the page load speed of the site.
